As previously reported, the Lithuanian parliament (Seimas) was considering a draft bill that would increase the VAT registration (exemption) threshold from EUR 45,000 to EUR 60,000. The parliament is now considering an alternative draft bill that would further increase the VAT threshold. The threshold would be increased to EUR 60,000 for 2026 as in the prior draft, but with a further increase to EUR 70,000 for 2027 and to EUR 85,000 for 2028 and subsequent years.
