According to a release from the Liechtenstein government, officials from Liechtenstein and the Slovak Republic met on 20 November 2024 to discuss economic relations, including Liechtenstein's interest in signing an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
