According to a release from the Liechtenstein government, officials from Liechtenstein and Mexico met to discuss bilateral relations during an officials visit from 14 to 15 December 2023, including Liechtenstein's interest in negotiating an income tax treaty. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
