The Lesotho government has published the Budget Speech 2020-21, which was delivered in parliament on 26 February 2020. Tax-related proposals presented in the speech include: an LSL 15 increase on the oil levy; a 3% and 1% adjustment on VAT on telecommunications and electricity, respectively; and an increase in the lower tax bracket from LSL 5,090 per month to 5,350 per month (annual bracket increase from LSL 61,080 to 64,200).
