Lebanon recently published Decree No. 6327 in the Official Gazette, which was approved on 4 May 2020 for the ratification of the Multilateral Competent Authority Agreement on Automatic Exchange of Financial Account Information (MCAA). The MCAA provides for the exchange of information under the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS). Lebanon signed the MCAA on 12 May 2017 and had intended to begin the first exchanges under CRS by September 2018.
