According to a release from the Saudi Press Agency, officials from Kuwait and Saudi Arabia met on 31 January 2024 to discuss bilateral relations and cooperation, including the interest of both countries in signing an income tax treaty. The treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
