Jordan's Income and Sales Tax Department has announced that the Council of Ministers has approved the granting of payment relief for taxpayer settlement requests, including installment requests. The relief is available for both outstanding income and sales tax and includes 100% penalty relief for settlement requests made by the end of February 2021. Partial relief may also be granted for later requests, which includes 50% relief for settlement request made between 1 March and 31 May 2021, and 25% relief for settlement request made between 1 June and 31 July 2021.
