Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced that officials from Japan and Sweden reached an agreement in principle on a social security agreement between Japan and Sweden during the fourth round of negotiations held 9 to 13 April 2018. The agreement will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force.
