On 14 December 2017, the Israel Tax Authority (ITA) published an update on Country-by-Country (CbC) reporting to announce that it will accept voluntary filing of CbC reports in respect of 2016 even before the legislative work for the introduction of CbC reporting requirements is complete. The required legislation for CbC reporting has been approved in the Knesset (parliament) in the first reading, but is still pending final approval.
