According to recent reports, the Isle of Man Tynwald (parliament) approved the Taxes (Ireland) (Amendment) Order 2022 on 15 March 2022, which provides for the ratification of the pending protocol to the 2008 (individual) income tax treaty with Ireland. The protocol, signed 18 November 2021, is the first to amend the treaty and includes changes to comply with the OECD BEPS Standards, including the addition of an article on entitlement to benefits.
