Isle of Man Publishes Practice Note for 2021-22 Budget Income Tax and National Insurance Proposals

The Isle of Man Treasury has issued a Practice Note 214/21 on the Budget 2021-22 income tax and national insurance proposals. The Practice Note includes that no changes will be made for the 2021/22 tax year regarding income tax for companies or individuals, with the rates, brackets, allowances, etc. for 2020/21 maintained for 2021/22. Rates, limits, and thresholds for national assurance contributions are also generally maintained, although the lower earnings limit will not be announced until after the UK Budget and will be subject to approval by Tynwald in March.
