The Government of Iraq has announced that the Cabinet approved the pending income tax treaty with Kuwait during its regular meeting held on 10 June 2020. The treaty, signed 12 May 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
