According to a release from the Hungarian government, the adoption of the Pillar 2 global minimum tax will not result in tax increases in Hungary. After flipping its position on the global minimum tax in June 2022, Hungary finally agreed to the implementation of the global minimum tax with other EU Member States on 12 December.
