The Hungarian Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing an exemption of businesses in a difficult situation due to COVID-19 from the payment of contributions on their workers' wages for four months. For sectors in need of immediate assistance, employers are exempt from the payment of contributions on wages for the months of March, April, May, and June, including the 17.5% social contribution tax and the 1.5% vocational contribution.
