Hungary published Government Decree 573/2022 in the Official Gazette on 23 December 2022, increasing the standard minimum monthly wage from HUF 200,000 per month to HUF 232,000 per month for full-time employees with effect from 1 January 2023. For employees in positions requiring at least secondary-level qualifications or vocational training, the minimum monthly wage is increased from HUF 260,000 per month to HUF 296,400 per month.
