Hungary's Minister of Finance Mihály Varga has announced the establishment of a committee for "Sustainable Economic Whitening", which will focus on strengthening the protection of workers against undeclared compensation, increasing protections against the use of shell companies for tax evasion/fraud, and addressing construction and car repair invoicing abuses. The committee will also study how to increase the use of electronic payments. The actions of the committee are meant to increase revenue in order to provide further tax cuts.
