Hong Kong Inland Revenue has announced the orders for the implementation of the pending income and capital tax treaties with Georgia and Serbia. The treaty with Georgia, signed 5 October 2020, is the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and will enter into force on the first day of the month following the exchange of the ratification instruments.  The treaty with Serbia, signed by Serbia on 14 August 2020 and by Hong Kong on 27 August 2020, is also the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged....
