Guernsey and Montserrat signed a competent authority agreement on 19 July 2019 for the automatic exchange of financial account information based on the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS). Under the agreement, each competent authority will automatically exchange information on reportable accounts of tax residents of the respective jurisdiction held in the other jurisdiction. The automatic exchange applies with respect to 2019 and all subsequent years.
