Guernsey has published the Limited Partnerships (Guernsey) (Striking Off) Regulations 2021, which were made on 25 June 2021 and came into operation on 30 June 2021. The regulations have been made in connection with Guernsey's recent extension of the economic substance requirements to partnerships and provide for the striking off of any defaulting limited partnership that has not met the economic substance requirements applicable to it by virtue of the Income Tax (Substance Requirements) (Implementation) Regulations 2021.
