The Government of Guernsey has issued a release noting that it has received official confirmation that Guernsey is recognized by Croatia as a cooperative jurisdiction with respect to tax good governance. Guernsey had been included in Croatia's prior national tax blacklist, but this changed with Croatia's adoption of the EU's list of non-cooperative jurisdictions for tax purposes as part of tax reform legislation published in November 2018. Guernsey was initially listed by the EU as committed to implementing good governance principles (i.e., grey-listed) and, having met its commitments, was completely removed from the EU list in March 2019.
