The Greek Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing further support measures for COVID-19, including an extension of the reduced VAT rate (13%) for coffee and non-alcoholic beverages, passenger transport, and cinema theatrical performance tickets until 30 September 2021. In addition, the reduced VAT for tourist packages is extended until 31 December 2021. The release also notes other support measures, including further rent relief in March for businesses whose activities have been suspended by government order, with compensation for landlords.
