The Greek Ministry of Finance has issued a release announcing payment relief for COVID-19 that will be implemented to support taxpayers in meeting their obligations. This includes the establishment of a payment facility that includes 12 interest-free installments or 24 low-interest installments for all tax debts of both natural and legal persons that are suspended from March to September 2020. In addition, prior payment facilities for individuals and businesses will be extended and a 2% discount will be reintroduced for lump-sum payments of personal income tax.
