On 22 May 2019, the German Federal Cabinet adopted the draft law published by the Ministry of Finance in April for the support of research and development (R&D), with certain amendments. The main aspects of the draft are maintained, which includes a 25% tax subsidy (allowance) for qualifying R&D expenditure incurred.
