Preliminary reports state that Georgia and the Seychelles have agreed to enter into negotiations for a double taxation agreement, as well as an air services agreement. This comes as a result of a meeting on April 29th, 2014, between officials from the two countries to discuss enhancing cooperation in several areas, including investment, tourism, culture and education. Any resulting agreement would be the first of its kind between Georgia and the Seychelles, and would enter into force after signing and the exchange of ratification instruments.
