According to French Minister of the Economy and Finance, Bruno le Maire, France is ready to move forward on implementing the pillar 2 global minimum tax in 2023 through national legislation if an agreement in the EU is not reached by December 2022. Minister le Maire has also said that Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, and Spain have also agreed to implement the global minimum tax in 2023.
