France published the Ministerial Order of 31 August 2023 in the Official Gazette on 6 September 2023, which set the rates of gold mining tax in French Guiana for the year 2023. The rates are EUR 549.88 per kilogram of extracted gold for SMEs and EUR 1099.77 per kilogram of extracted gold for large companies, which have been increased from rates of EUR 488.97 and EUR 977.95 for SMEs and large companies, respectively, in 2022.
