The French Ministry of Economy and Finance has announced that following a consultation, it has been decided to introduce a single VAT exemption threshold of EUR 25,000 in turnover for all businesses from 1 June 2025. This is the previous calendar year exemption threshold. The current year exemption threshold is EUR 27,500. Separate thresholds for goods, services, and certain activities will no longer apply.
