According to an update from the U.S. Department of the Treasury, the Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Cape (Cabo) Verde and the U.S. for the implementation of FATCA entered into force on 7 February 2024. Although in force on that date, Cape Verde is treated as having an IGA in Effect from 30 June 2014.
