On 13 September 2023, the European Parliament approved a resolution on the proposal for a Council directive amending Directive 2011/16/EU on administrative cooperation in the field of taxation to introduce new reporting requirements in relation to crypto-assets that are used for payment or investment purposes (DAC8).
