The European Commission has issued a release welcoming agreement on a EUR 1.8 trillion budget package to help build a greener, more digital, and more resilient Europe. The Commission has also published a Q&A on the agreement. With respect to taxation, the main elements of the package include a detailed roadmap towards new own resources to help repay the borrowing.
