According to a release from the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine, officials from Egypt and Ukraine recently met to discuss simplifying financial procedures and eliminating administrative barriers to trade, including updating the 1997 tax treaty between the two countries. Any updates would be the first to the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
