Jordan's Ministry of Finance issued a release on 24 February 2022 regarding a recent meeting between the Finance Ministers of Egypt and Jordan to discuss the enhancement of bilateral cooperation in the areas of finance, tax, and customs sectors, including the update of the 1996 tax treaty between the two countries. A release from Egypt's Ministry of Finance on the meeting has also been issued.
