The EU Council is reportedly establishing a new Working Party on Tax Questions that will handle all tax-related matters. The new working party is to formally begin its work on 22 June 2021 and will replace the current two working parties, the Working Party on Tax Questions and the High Level Working Party. The consolidation into a single working party is meant streamline the Council's work on tax matters in the EU.
