The European Court of Justice (ECJ) recently ruled on a case concerning VAT relief for taxable bad debt in Hungary. The Case In the case, a Hungarian supplier delivered a shipment of rapeseed to its customer, but the costumer ultimately did not pay for the shipment and agreement was made to return the goods.
