The Dutch tax authority has issued a release on the need for taxpayers to prepare for changes in their method of VAT return filing. The release notes that the old business portal will no longer be available for VAT returns from 2022. As such, taxpayers still using the old business portal should prepare now for filing their VAT returns from 2022 in one of three ways: via administration software; through a tax service provider; or via the new business portal Mijn Belastingdienst Zakelijk.
