The Dominican Republic's Directorate General of Internal Revenue (DGII) has announced that due to the extension of the country's state of emergency for COVID-19, the deadlines for the presentation and payment of various tax obligations that were scheduled for 29 June are extended to 29 July 2020. This includes, among others, the filing of the corporate income tax return (IR-2) and individual income tax return (IR-1) for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2019.
