Dominica Removed from EU Non-Cooperative List

The Council of the European Union has announced its decision on 14 June 2019 to remove Dominica from the EU blacklist of non-cooperative jurisdictions. According to the announcement, Dominica has been removed because the country has implemented its commitments and addressed EU concerns as regards automatic exchange of financial information. More specifically, Dominica completed the necessary steps to sign and ratify the OECD multilateral convention on mutual administrative assistance. Following the removal of Dominica, 11 jurisdictions remain on the list of non-cooperative jurisdictions: American Samoa, Belize, Fiji, Guam, Marshall Islands, Oman, Samoa, Trinidad and Tobago, United Arab Emirates, US Virgin...
