On 30 August 2024, the Danish government presented the draft Finance Act for 2024. Tax-related measures of the draft are relatively limited, although it does include a proposed exemption from the labor market contribution for employees under the age of 18. The 8% contribution is levied on gross employee salary and is withheld and paid by the employer. It covers employees in the event of unemployment, sickness, and expenses for training and activation.
