The Danish Tax Agency has issued a release providing an update on the status of its tax investigations in relation to the Panama papers. The Danish government authorized the purchase of leaked Panama papers data in 2016, which was controversial at the time but deemed necessary to address tax evasion issues. According to the release, the Tax Agency has so far decided on 108 cases with combined adjustments of approximately DKK 610 million (~USD 94.93 million) and potential tax revenue of approximately DKK 227 million (~USD 35.33 million).
