The Danish government has announced a package of measures it is introducing to help mitigate the negative financial consequences of the coronavirus (COVID-19). Tax-related measures reportedly include the following: Companies subject to monthly VAT reporting (supplies exceed DKK 50 million) are granted a 30-day extension for VAT payment for the March, April, and May 2020 periods; Companies are granted a four-month extension to remit labor-related contributions due in April, May, and June 2020, including tax withheld on salaries, certain fringe benefits, and directors' fees, as well as social security contributions; Companies are allowed to reduce their preliminary payments on expected...
