The Danish government has launched a public consultation on proposed legislation for green tax reforms. As previously reported, the government reached a broad agreement with different political parties in 2022 on green tax reforms that include measures to reach the government's goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 70% by 2030, including the introduction of a new CO2 tax with a fixed minimum amount per tonne of CO2.
