Denmark has published the Notice of the termination of the tax treaty between Denmark and Russia in the Official Gazette. The notice confirms the termination of the 1996 tax treaty between the two countries is effective for Denmark with effect from 1 January 2024 for withholding taxes and other taxes on income and property. Russia confirmed the termination with effect from 1 January 2024 through a notice published in July 2023 (previous coverage).
