On 11 May 2022, officials from Croatia and Cyprus met to discuss bilateral relation of economic relations, including Cyprus' interest in concluding negotiations for an income tax treaty with Croatia. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
