According to recent reports, Curacao's government is planning to introduce tax system reforms for the implementation of the Pillar 2 Global Minimum Tax (GMT). The introduction of the 15% GMT is being considered as part of the government budget policy for the 2025 fiscal year, which also includes other measures to comply with the OECD BEPS and information exchange standards, as well as measures to strengthen fiscal facilities through special economic zones.
