China's Ministry of Commerce has announced the issuance of the Catalogue of Industries Encouraged for Foreign Investment (2022 Edition) together with the National Development and Reform Commission. The "Encouraged Catalogue" is important for foreign investors because foreign-invested projects that conform to the Catalogue can enjoy preferential treatment in taxation and land use.
