The Isle of Man government has published a competent authority agreement signed with Bermuda for the automatic exchange of financial account information based on the OECD Common Reporting Standard (CRS). The agreement was signed by the Isle of Man on 14 May 2020 and by Bermuda on 28 August 2020 and provides that Bermuda will automatically exchange information on reportable accounts of Isle of Man tax residents held in Bermuda. The automatic exchange applies with respect to the 2019 and all subsequent years.
