The Council of the European Union has announced its decision on 8 November 2019 to remove Belize from the EU blacklist of non-cooperative jurisdictions. According to the announcement, Belize has been removed because it has passed the necessary reforms to improve its tax regime for international business companies that were due to be implemented by the end of 2018.
