The Belarus Ministry of Taxes and Duties has announced that a new fee (tax) on advertising placement will be introduced from 1 May 2022. The new fee is introduced by Presidential Decree No. 31 of 31 March 2022 "On the Development of Mass Media". The fee is imposed on companies and individual entrepreneurs in Belarus on the cost of services actually rendered for advertising placement (distribution), exclusive of VAT, and is deductible for income tax purposes.
