On 22 April 2020, the Belarus Council of the Republic (upper house of parliament) approved the law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Moldova. The agreement, signed 23 October 2019, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
