Barbados has reportedly ceased granting licenses under the regimes for international business companies and for international societies with restricted liability from 1 July 2018 where the company or society is engaged in the holding and exploiting of intellectual property. This is a result of the two regimes being found harmful in terms of BEPS Action 5 with respect to intellectual property income.
